Dirt Racing Media reported late last night that 201 Speedway will now be paying $5000 to the winner of their 1st annual Roger Breeding Memorial super late model race.
Next weekend was supposed to be the "Dirt Champion of the Universe" paying $5000 and the Roger Breeding Memorial was supposed to have been raced last month on the 24th of August, but was reschedule for next Saturday (Sep. 21).
I guess that this will be the last $5000 to win race of the year at 201. Was hoping they would've merged the two payouts and made this race a $7500 or merge one of the payouts with the 2nd annual Halloween 50 and have it a $5500 or $8000 to win race. But with all the recent rain outs, it's understandable that they can't merge the payouts.
Should be a big turn out at 201. We will work with other local dirt racing outlets to put together a drivers list.
