Owens wins Hillbilly 100 at I-77; Francis 2nd

Lucas Oil points leader, Jimmy Owens widened the gap between he and Steve Francis Sunday night at I-77 Speedway in Ripley, WV. Owens come away with the win and takes home the $25,000 payday over Steve Francis. The two continue to go back and fourth, however it seems like the Owens continues to get the best of Francis.

Francis isn't out of it yet though in the points race. He trails by 145 points, but he's a couple of wins away from making a run at Owens, who is the defending Lucas Oil series champion.
